Als Application Engineer – Handtmann Experience Center APAC, bei unserer Vertriebsgesellschaft in Thailand, agieren Sie als regionaler Anwendungsspezialist und unterstützen unsere Vertriebsgesellschaften sowie Vertriebspartner in der gesamten Asien-Pazifik-Region. Ihr Schwerpunkt liegt auf Anwendungstechnik, Tests sowie Produktdemonstrationen und Schulungen zur Stärkung der Fachkompetenz unserer Kollegen und Partner.
- Durchführung umfassender anwendungs- und servicetechnischer Unterstützung für regionale Vertriebsgesellschaften und Vertriebspartner
- Fachliche Beratung zu anwendungstechnischen Fragestellungen entlang verschiedener Prozess- und Produktanforderungen
- Mitwirkung bei Maschinen- und Produktdemonstrationen, Testläufen, Inbetriebnahmen und Einsätzen zur Störungsanalyse innerhalb der APAC‑Region
- Planung und Durchführung von Aktivitäten im Handtmann Experience Center: Produktdemonstrationen, Testreihen sowie strukturierte technische und anwendungsbezogene Schulungen
- Remote Support und Second‑Level‑Unterstützung zur Sicherstellung schneller Reaktionszeiten
- Analyse produktspezifischer Eigenschaften (z. B. Textur, Formgebung) sowie Ableitung optimaler Maschinenkonfigurationen zur Erzielung bestmöglicher Ergebnisse
- Unterstützung regionaler Vertriebsinitiativen und Teilnahme an Messen, Events und Veranstaltungen.
- Dokumentation aller Aktivitäten und kontinuierliche Abstimmung mit dem globalen Anwendungstechnik‑Team
- Reisetätigkeit innerhalb der APAC‑Region zur Durchführung technischer Unterstützungs- und Schulungseinsätze

- Abgeschlossene Ausbildung im Lebensmittelbereich (z. B. Metzger, Bäcker, Lebensmitteltechnologe) oder vergleichbare lebensmittel- bzw. maschinentechnische Qualifikation
- Zusätzliche Qualifikationen wie Meister, Techniker oder Bachelorabschluss von Vorteil
- Gültiges Visum und Arbeitserlaubnis für Thailand
- Berufserfahrung im anwendungstechnischen Support, idealerweise in der Lebensmittelindustrie oder im Maschinebauumfeld
- Erfahrung mit regelmäßigen internationalen Dienstreisen; Kenntnisse der APAC‑Region von Vorteil
- Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse; weitere asiatische Sprachen oder Deutschkenntnisse sind ein Plus
- Selbstständige, strukturierte und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise sowie hohe Serviceorientierung
- Ausgeprägte kommunikative und planerische Fähigkeiten sowie Motivation, Aufgaben in einem internationalen Umfeld zu gestalten

As an Application Engineer – Handtmann Experience Center APAC at our sales subsidiary in Thailand, you act as a regional application specialist and support our sales companies and distribution partners across the entire Asia‑Pacific region. Your focus lies on application engineering, testing, product demonstrations, and training to strengthen the technical expertise of our colleagues and partners.
- Execution of comprehensive application and service‑related support for regional sales companies and distribution partners
- Professional consulting on application engineering topics across various process and product requirements
- Participation in machine and product demonstrations, test runs, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities within the APAC region
- Planning and execution of activities in the Handtmann Experience Center, including product demonstrations, test series, and structured technical and application‑related training
- Remote support and second‑level assistance to ensure fast response times
- Analysis of product‑specific characteristics (e.g., texture, forming) and derivation of optimal machine configurations to achieve the best possible results
- Support of regional sales initiatives and participation in trade fairs, events, and exhibitions
- Documentation of all activities and continuous coordination with the global application engineering team
- Business travel within the APAC region to provide technical support and training on site
Experience and Skills
- Completed vocational training in the food sector (e.g., butcher, baker, food technologist) or a comparable qualification in food or mechanical engineering
- Additional qualifications such as master craftsman, technician, or bachelor’s degree are an advantage
- Valid visa and work permit for Thailand
- Professional experience in application‑related support, ideally in the food industry or mechanical engineering environment
- Experience with regular international business travel; knowledge of the APAC region is an advantage
- Very good command of English; additional Asian languages or German skills are a plus
- Independent, structured, and solution‑oriented working style with a strong service orientation
- Strong communication and planning skills as well as motivation to contribute in an international environment
- Passion for the food industry and willingness for continuous professional development
